1958 Edsel for sale

They’ll know you’ve arrived!

Highly attractive 1958 Edsel Pacer Convertible, in very good/original condition.  The original 361 cubic inch (5.9 L) V8 engine runs well with a full-length dual exhaust system that sounds great and conveys the engine’s 303 horsepower—a teenage male’s mating call.

The exterior (powder blue and white) is adorned with chrome accents, [sculpted?] body lines, fender skirts, and the iconic Edsel horse collar grille—all in very good overall condition.  There is some minor cosmetic damage that has been repainted/repaired–contact me for details/specifics.

The convertible top is in great condition, runs smooth, and looks fantastic either up or down—perfect for open-air cruising on sunny summer days.

The interior is in very good, original condition throughout with highlights including distinctive two-tone red and white upholstery. (Flooring may not be original).  The automatic transmission has been modified to be on the tree, but we have the original Teletouch pushbutton shifter on a duplicate steering wheel hub we would include.

Other items of note:
Milage 118,794 (odometer reads 18,794; assume it has turned over once).

VIN:  W8RR703632.

1958 Edsel Pacer 2 Door Hardtop

1958 Edsel Pacer 2 door hardtop; restorable or for parts, clear title. I bought this car about 30 years ago. I started it once back then and then began taking things apart to begin the restoration.  Got busy with family and the Edsel was forgotten.  The car has been sitting on the side of my house up here in the So. Cal. desert.  The front left fender has some signs of some bondo but other than that, the sheet metal is in excellent shape; no bondo, no rust (some light surface rust), no dents, no dings. The roof is excellent and the glass is in great shape.  The floor panel has some patches, rust and holes. The trunk is in great shape. Some parts have been re-chromed and I’m sure a few parts are missing but there are lots of extra parts. In the 90’s, I was an EOC member. I had a ’59 Ranger. I went to numerous rallies; Cambria, Yosemite and others. Lots of great memories.  Feel free to call, text or email with any questions, for more photos or to come out and take a look.  Where is, as is, no warranty. Pick-up/cash only. Thank you.
